Psoriasis, Nail Psoriasis and Plaque Psoriasis Patient Recruitment

The Challenge

For the 8+ million Americans diagnosed with psoriasis, this condition has resulted in the manifestation of additional comorbidities and negatively affecting the quality of life. According to the National Psoriasis Foundation, psoriasis symptoms can begin at just 15 years old and can affect people of all ages and skin colors. The causations of psoriasis are unknown. People living with psoriasis are at an increased risk of added health conditions.

We worked with research sites in Oregon, California, and New Jersey to recruit psoriasis patients. These sites are working with patients to potentially treat and mediate psoriasis and its overreacting immune system response.

Additional Challenges Faced

  • COVID-19 (site shutdowns, public’s fear of leaving home)

METICULOUS APPROACH

As with every new project, Clinically Media began by researching psoriasis and the patient. To further expand our knowledge, the Clinically Media team attended a psoriasis-focused educational event that included health professional guest speakers from across the US. Clinically Media actively seeks out educational events to further understand the lives of patients.

Using the information from the psoriasis educational event, Clinically Media monitored and analyzed the digital campaign’s data and progress. Clinically Media adjusted advertising efforts when necessary based on the statistics gathered. By updating key elements within the social media advertisements to avoid audience saturation, ensuring inclusivity throughout images and messaging, and modifying the audience reach, Clinically Media was able to meet the referral goals.

Clinically Media did very well and are easy to work with. Will work with them again in the future for sure. And their portal is easy to navigate. Keep doing what you're doing!- James at Windsor Dermatology, New Jersey
