Uber Health – a transportation partnership

Remove transportation barriers

Our partnership with UberHealth allows us to seamlessly integrate transportation into our patient recruitment and retention strategies.

Decrease dropout rates, increase retention. Clinically Media will design patient retention and engagement boosting materials to keep patients invested in your study.

Our team or your study staff can easily book rides for participants who indicate they require transportation.

      • Rides can be scheduled as recurring trips in Uber Health’s HIPAA-secure web dashboard.
      • Participants don’t need a smartphone or the Uber App.
      • All communications take place via SMS & phone calls.

Enable participants to arrange their own transportation.

      • Vouchers allows participants to book their own Uber ride via the app.
      • This creates less work for staff & streamlines communications between riders and drivers.
      • We can choose to partially or fully cover the cost of the ride. This can be a useful incentive for participants to take part in a study.

Objective 1

Creating Equity

Diversity is key in clinical trials. Lack of transportation often bars low-income & at risk communities from participating in studies, which can bias the sample by excluding people from certain ethnicities or backgrounds.

Objective 2

Recruitment & Retention

Providing transportation significantly expands the pool of participants, and reduces missed visits / dropouts. Uber can be a powerful tool to attract patients & retain them for the duration of the study.
